Welcome to our ‘Bassbin’ project. All of our Necessary Mayhem, fans will know that whatever the style or genre of music that is released from our label, will have at least one common theme driving through it and that is the heavy bassline.
This project fully supports that theme with a Bass driven album that features tunes from the likes of Tarrus Riley, Killa Mosquito, Mr Williamz, Marcus Visionary, Benny Page & many more bassline gems. Covering all grounds from Roots to Dub, Jungle, Dancehall & of course Killa Mosquito, merging all of the genres together.
Mr Williamz, is in fine form of late, especially with this Ganja Palace, track which could quiet possibly be his biggest in this style. Check him out in the video clip with this herbalist banger!
Curtis lynch, has opted for dancehall royalty so far with his recent releases & The legend that is Daddy Colonel, from the world renowned, Saxon Sound System most certainly a King in the Dancehall arena. Entertaining is exactly what the Colonel does and this dancehall killer ‘Time for some entertaining’ is exactly that.
Lynch again musically adds to that original dancehall style and tempo with up to date sounds and mix engineer tricks. Yet another big summer banger in the making.
Ganja Palace, was sent as a dubplate to DJ Yaardcore in Jamaica. Yaardcore is a well known DJ and works as part reggae artist ‘Protoje’s’ team. Yaardcore put this track on his Reggae Aroma Vol 3 mix on soundcloud some months back and since then this tune has become one of the most requested & featured tunes from the Mr Williamz, Set The Standard album. Without further delay here is the EP which features the original album cut as well as brand new Soundcheck & Dub mixes from producer Curtis Lynch.
